What are you going to do after your first day at work?
Have a nice dinner with my boyfriend. This happened to be planned already and then I can tell him about my first day at vPlan.
Why did you choose vPlan?
I was ready for a new challenge and came across the vacancy for consultant on LinkedIn. The job description appealed to me immediately. In addition, I had known and followed vPlan for a while and it seemed like a really nice company all along. I think the position suits me well and that I can develop myself further within vPlan.
What do you hope to find at vPlan?
Personal growth, fun at work, a nice atmosphere and corporate culture.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up (other than open your eyes)?
Check my cell phone and then go straight downstairs to get something to eat. I really need breakfast to start my day off right.
What do you like most about work?
I really enjoy helping people by giving honest advice. That really gives me energy. At vPlan I am also going to help companies by offering a suitable solution and implementing it together with the customer. Not only thinking along in a solution, but also the contact with different types of companies and entrepreneurs I really enjoy.
If you slept very badly, what should colleagues do/don't do?
They shouldn't disturb me too much. What they can do is bring me a coffee.
What can you be woken up for?
Food! I don't have a sweet tooth, so I prefer something salty/savoury.
Ultimate relaxation for you is...
Drinking a cup of coffee or wine outside in the sun.
What did you want to be when you were little?
Veterinarian, but every time I went in there I fainted. A day of practical experience was not a success. Then I started thinking about other professions.
What was your favorite vacation and what is your dream trip?
All vacations had something special, from camping in France to two weeks in the jungle in Suriname. I have already seen quite a lot of Europe, but would like to see much more of outside Europe. South Africa, Asia, South America, Norway, Lapland....
